Metodi Tylev was born on May 19, 1957 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Graduated with honors from the University of Sofia, Bulgaria School of Law in 1984. Practices law in Bulgaria since 1984. Served as a Judge in the Sofia Regional Court from 1986 to 1991.
In the United States graduated from the Academy in International and Business Law at The SouthWestern Legal Foundation in 1991. Received a law degree from the Washington College of Law in 1993 with honors in the top 5% of the class. Member of the Virginia, Maryland, and The District Of Columbia Bars since 1994.
Possesses extensive litigation experience. Has served as a Bulgarian law expert in U.S. courts. Practices in Maryland, Virginia, the District Of Columbia, and Bulgaria, together with attorneys Silber, Perlman, and Sigman.
